Tak Nga Secondary School
English Department

Students in each form can enjoy the activities exclusively organised for their form so that they can gain first-hand experience in what they are learning in the classroom. This kind of extended learning further polishes their skills in using English as a language.
Form Activities
S1
Big Bus Tour
This tour is highly enjoyable for our S1 students. They have the opportunity to travel on a Big Bus, exploring various parts of Hong Kong Island. Along the way, they learn about a range of destinations, from historical sites to modern buildings.
S2
The Peak & Madame Tussauds
What could be more exciting than meeting celebrities in person? In this activity, students not only have the opportunity to learn about the lives of these public figures, but also discover the motivations that drive their success. A good lesson for value education!
S3
Career Carnival
Our S3 students are doing an excellent job at this carnival by researching careers they are passionate about, presenting the information and designing game booths that help participants learn more about various professions. Their creativity is greatly appreciated.
S4
English Martial Dance
Sports play a crucial role in students' health, which is why we incorporate a Chinese element—martial arts—into the English curriculum. In addition to learning kung fu terminology in English, students participate in a session that allows them to engage in physical exercise.
S5
Global Dialogue
Using English in real-life situations, our S5 students have a valuable opportunity to discuss social issues and engage in cultural exchange with people from various parts of the world, including Ukraine, Ghana, and Myanmar.
Reading Pals
In the Reading Pals activity, primary school students were invited to engage in interactive English-speaking events through reading storybooks.
